My brief summary of the book

12-year-old Anastasia, one of the grand duchesses, had a fairy-tale life with her sisters, brother, and parents. When she got older, her life changed because of World War I. The Germans are attacking the Russians, and their royal life is falling apart. Will Anastasia and her family survive this madness?

My thoughts

This book is a page-turner of events. It gives good insight into the luxurious life of Anastasia Romanov. Beware of sad parts; this book can be very emotional too.

My rating

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.
