My brief summary of the book
This book is mainly about Mary I or “Bloody Mary” ‘s childhood. Mary was unhappy with her life because she was betrothed three times. Mary loved her mother, but King Henry VIII divorced her mother to get a son! Her father, King Henry VIII, married Anne Boleyn and treated Mary poorly. She was a maid in her castle. Mary is convinced that Anne is a witch. Can Mary go to secure her position to be a queen one day?
My thoughts
Did you know that Mary could not attend her mother’s funeral?
I enjoyed reading that book. It’s a very informative and riveting book. I felt like I was there with Mary.
