Have you ever wondered how desserts came about? If so, then read this fun and educational book where you’ll learn more about all your favorite desserts.

My brief summary of the book

The story begins with three sprites who LOVE food: Peri, Fee, and Fada. They will guide you through history about the popular desserts we know and love today. From Emperor Nero to Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna, many famous people love desserts just like us. Join these three sprites on this dessert history journey!

My thoughts

This book is a wonderful and unique sweet treat! I learned so many new things about desserts. I loved these little sprites, but my favorite is Fee because I think she is cute, and I love it when she acts like a historical figure. I also loved Storytime; my favorite is The Legend of Nun’s farts because it’s so funny, and these treats seem delicious. The illustrations are well-done, colorful, and fun. Such a great and informative graphic novel!

My rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.

What is your favorite dessert? Mine is my mom’s homemade French Rustic Apple Pie 😋
