When Willy Wonka was a young boy, he was very poor and could only afford to eat one homemade chocolate yearly. However, his mother’s chocolate was the best in the world, and he dreamed of having his own chocolate shop in the Galeries Gourmet, where the best chocolate was sold. Seven years later, he went to the Galeries Gourmet to make his dream come true. Unfortunately, he lost all his money almost as soon as he arrived. He needed a cheap place to stay for the night, and by chance, a boy found him and brought him to Scrubitt and Bleacher Guest House and Laundry, which he thought was affordable. However, he was charged an expensive fee for everything he did inside the guest house. In the end, he was in a lot of debt and had to work inside the wash house to pay it off. It was there that he met a girl named Noodle. And so began the life-changing journey of Willy Wonka and how he became the world’s most extraordinary chocolatier.

The book was an absolute gem! It was touching, unique, and had me hooked right from the start. Can you believe someone tried to milk a giraffe? Is that even possible? But that’s not even the best part! The author’s writing style is superb – the words were written in large print, and some were written in a way I’ve never seen before (you’ll have to read it to find out!).

If you’re a fan of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, like me, then you’re in for a treat! The characters Noodle and Willy Wonka have such a special bond, and it’s heartwarming to see how they look after each other.

After finishing this book, I craved one of Willy Wonka’s delicious chocolates!
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story and enjoyed the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
