The not-so-wimps of the wild, Izzy and Sam, have been helping their cousin Addie at the Wilde animal sanctuary ever since they got some Baby Cassowary hatchlings. However, some illegal pet dealers have threatened to sue the sanctuary, which poses a threat to the safety of the hatchlings. In order to safeguard the hatchlings, they need to be returned to their original habitat before the case arrives. However, Wilde is facing a financial crisis and requires funds. Fortunately, an opportunity arises for Izzy to earn money by pet-sitting her neighbor’s cat, Clover. Izzy must do everything she can to save the baby Cassowary hatchlings from the illegal pet dealers.

I enjoyed this book more than the first one because it included a cat as one of the characters, and the storyline was more engaging. The story follows Izzy and Sam, who are still hesitant about going outside despite encountering various animals on their previous adventures. Izzy has become less fearful, but Sam still seems to be terrified. The cat, Clover, was an absolute delight and incredibly adorable. Whenever he appeared in the story, I wanted to reach out and pet him. However, I found myself getting annoyed with Sam’s persistent gaming habits. He would constantly be glued to his device, playing video games, even when Izzy needed assistance.
Overall, the book was fantastic, and I recommend it to anyone who loves animals and enjoys a good read.
