My brief summary of the book

Siblings Reese (the sea turtle nerd) and Dean (the jokester) love watching YouTube videos. One night, Reese stumbled upon a new sea turtle video. They both watched the video when suddenly, Reese and Dean were transported to a beach on an island called Erutuf National Park. They soon realized that they were on a magical island and met a talking turtle named Emma. Emma needs their help to look for a secret map and to protect it from pirates. Will they find the map and prevent the pirates from stealing it?

My thoughts

I love this teal-blue, summery book cover. I wanted to dive and swim with this cute turtle. It’s a beautiful, magical story that brings you on a voyage. It’s humorous too, and Emma, the wise turtle, is my favorite character. I wish the book went deeper because I like it so much, and I wanted to know more about the characters.

My rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Do you like to visit National Parks? Like Mrs. Cherry, I love national parks and state parks. I visited a lot with my family, to list a few: the Great Smoky Mountains, Rocky Mountain NP, Great Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Saguaro, etc.
