My brief summary of the book

Xar and Wish must work together to defeat a dangerous creature! Xar, the son of the wizard king, cannot practice magic! He intends to hunt a witch to get its blood so he can get magic. The only problem is that no one has ever seen a witch for hundreds of years. He makes a net to catch a witch, but instead, he traps a girl named Wish, the daughter of the warrior queen, the wizard’s enemy. He stole a forbidden magic item from Wish that kills witches and takes the blood. He must fix his mistake. Will he set it before it’s too late?

My thoughts

A captivating read filled with hilarious humor. This unique and exciting book would blow your mind with this magical, adventurous story. On the other hand, I was not a big fan of the illustrations.

My rating

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.
