A girl must learn the meaning of the most challenging part she will have to endure.

Kemi Carter, an 11-year-old girl, has a pretty good life with her big family and waiting for an upcoming member of her family. When they see that an asteroid called Amplus-68 has a chance of crashlanding on Earth and ultimately bringing about the world’s end, an overwhelming feeling of dread comes over them. Can Kemi and her family learn to face their end with only a sense of love?

I devoured this book in a couple of sittings. To say I couldn’t wait to get to the next chapter is an understatement because the plot was too exciting. This book was an emotional rollercoaster. There were lots of moving parts, and the ending was heartbreaking. I was close to tears at the end, but I can’t spoil you why.

What would you do if you knew the world’s end was coming? Kemi puts together a time capsule that will capture her family’s memories. By doing that, I learned more and more about Kemi’s family.
Kemi is an intelligent girl and knows her facts in probability. Her probability facts amuse me. Her dad was a friendly man, and her artist mom was too. Her little sister, Lola or Lo, was a mischievous yet adorable character. I love the Nigerian background and culture displayed throughout the book.

The probability that you would love this book is 100%. Give this nail-biting book to anyone who loves a moving (grief) yet beautiful (deep family love) story.
