Rosamund is a princess cursed to fall into a deep sleep, and only true love’s kiss can awaken her. After a hundred years of slumber, a prince with chapped lips (yuck) finally kissed her, and she woke up. However, she didn’t want to spend the rest of her life with someone she barely knew. Suddenly, a door appeared, leading to a new world, an academy. At the HEA (Happily Ever After) academy, Rosamund met two other princesses, Rana and Sirena, who introduced her to a new adventure of self-discovery. Rosamund began questioning everything and wondered if there was more to the academy than meets the eye.

This book has quickly become one of my favorites. The story was filled with clever references to well-known princesses, keeping me engaged. Among the many creative characters, Charlie, the only prince at the academy, stood out to me the most. His caring and humorous personality made him instantly likable. However, I found myself relating to Rosamund, who is as curious and yearning for the truth as I am.

What I loved most about this book was how deeply it made me think. It challenged the traditional fairy tale narrative by exploring what would happen if Cinderella didn’t like her Prince Charming and desired power instead. It also made me wonder what would happen if all the princesses rejected their true loves and decided to create their destinies. These thought-provoking themes added an intriguing layer to the story that had me hooked from start to finish.

Overall, this book was a well-crafted masterpiece filled with excitement and creativity. The author’s attention to detail was evident in every word, which kept me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what would happen next. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a rebellious princess story challenging the status quo.
