My brief summary of the book

Anastasia and Edward Upston, 11-year-old twin brother and sister, are excited about going to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History to meet their good friend Dr.G. When they finally meet up with Dr. G, he starts acting differently than he usually does. He canceled their next meeting because of an urgent call from a colleague. On their 12th birthday, a siege happened in the museum. Dr. G explained that he was part of a secret organization called the Order of Time. Anastasia and Edward must time-travel into Akhenaten’s time in Ancient Egypt to stop ripples in History.

My thoughts

There is no chance for boredom while reading the Order of Time book! This book is a pulsating, fast-paced story with unique twists and multiple events. Be ready to time-travel in Ancient Egypt; the book is expertly written and gives you many details about Egyptian history, mythology, and daily life. I learned new things about Ancient Egypt and even a new Egyptian myth. However, sometimes I felt overwhelmed with so many details that I could not keep track of them. Overall, an out-of-this-world book.

My rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.

How to be transported to another world, dimension, and time? Through a book!
