Brothers Bax and Ethan possess their very own candy shop. Their business is excellent, but everything changes when they find a magic powder. When they add the magic powder to the candy, they get a specific magical power for one minute, depending on the candy. They decided to sell the magic candy to give kids more fun and joy in their childhood. They aimed for positive effects from the candy, but this candy caused more problems than solutions. Adults always complain about the pranks pulled by the candy, while kids love it. How will Bax and Ethan solve all the problems caused by the candy while still keeping the candy in stock?

This book is a delectable quick read. While reading the book, my mouth was watering at all the mentions of delicious candies. It made me so hungry I could lick the page (don’t worry, I didn’t lick it).
I wish I could live in the town where the candy shop is. I love how they mention all these little stories about kids and the magic candy.

There are little drawings on the side of the pages about something that happens on the page. I still need to understand how they go to school, though.
The book’s message is that no matter how good things are, there will always be a downside, and limits must be set.
Did you know that Bax and Ethan are the author’s real kids? As a family, they created, wrote, and illustrated this tale.

If you love candy and reading, this book is the perfect fit!
