My brief summary of the book
Riley Oh is happy to see her adopted family sister, Hattie, become a Gom or a healing witch. She wishes that she had magic too! Hattie, Riley, and their other friend Emmett hatches a plan to give Riley half of Hattie’s magic. But it didn’t work out, and when they try to summon the mother of all creation, Hattie dies. They must find the last fallen star to revive Hattie! Will they save her before it’s too late?
My thoughts
Surprises at every corner, this book has a lot of plot twists, and it’s action-packed! The characters are fearless, and neither showed hesitation when the challenge began! This book was also very intriguing because Korean mythology is a mystery. This book makes me feel like I just took the first bite of a cupcake, and I want more! A pure joy to read.
