My brief summary of the book
One Christmas day, Addie B receives a letter from Mai Li from China. She said that Gemma (from the Garden of Choices) is in danger. At the same time, Addie’s boy cousins arrive at her home to spend Christmas together. They must find a way to enter the garden of choices to help Gemma. The garden is dying, and they must stop Daiyu, who rules outside of the garden of choices. Will they stop her before it’s too late?
My thoughts
This book was like a roller-coaster of emotions: surprised, sad, scared, excited. It is very different from the first book in a good way, more adventurous and mysterious.

About the author
“Hi! I’m Eileen Hobbs! I live in Oklahoma, but I’m not a true Okie because I grew up in Thailand’s beautiful and exotic country. I am married and have two grown sons and two dogs. I teach English composition to international students at a nearby university. I always say my students are my window to the world!! I love traveling, gardening, and spending time with my family. My book, The Heath Cousins and the Moonstone Cave, is based on my kids and their cousins when they were young and having wonderful imaginary adventures.” – Amazon.
