My brief summary of the book
This book is about a girl named Luna. Every year, the people of Protectorate must sacrifice a baby to keep the village safe. The witch Xan, brings the babies to the free cities. But Xan accidentally fed a baby moonlight. Moonlight is magic, so that makes the baby magic. She calls her Luna and raises her. A villager from Protectorate is trying to kill the witch because he does not want to sacrifice his baby. Then the volcano awakens and threatens the village. Will Luna save the day before it’s too late?
My thoughts
I loved this book because there are funny and scary parts that make the story intensely interesting! The love in this book is always strong for the characters in the story. Thanks to her magic powers, Luna can do cool stuff.
