My brief summary of the book
Charles, a soon-to-be journalist boy, is moving with his family to Echo City. Charles is unhappy about moving to Echo City and must live in an abandoned hotel with his annoying, optimistic parents. On the night of his move, Charles sees a monster that tries to eat him. The next day, a boy named Kevin shows up and offers a card that calls a monster mediator named Margo Maloo. Join Charles and Margo on their humorous but spine-chilling adventures.
My thoughts
This comic book is hilarious and well-made. Reviews said the book is scary, but I thought it was not so frightening. The illustrations are fun and cartoony. The palette is dark but a bit light too. I can’t wait to read the next book already.
