Jayden, Sunny, Kolten, Duke, The Bash Bros, Jack, Amir, Harper, and Ellie, also known as the Bay Road kids, are preparing themselves for the school week after winter break and a 102-question math test. But, to their surprise, a giant blizzard hits their area, and their evil principal is forced to cancel school for the whole week! In the midst of all this excitement, Duke decides to visit Sunny. But no! There’s a problem – there’s so much snow, 52 inches to be exact, and Duke has to shovel a path to Sunny’s house. While shoveling the snow, he hits something hard, and upon closer inspection, he finds a mysterious box. According to the Bay Road kids’ rules, if you find something strange or mysterious, you must open it with all the Bay Road kids. So, after gathering all of the Bay Road kids – imagine all that shoveling – they open the box and find out it’s a time capsule. Get ready for some time capsule fun filled with many twists and turns!

Get ready for an adventure with the Bay Road kids!
The latest addition to The Backyard Kids’ Series is so much fun – it’s written like a journal that gets passed around between the kids so you can hear all their hilarious thoughts and feelings. It’s a creative approach that makes the characters uniquely come to life. They’re all so unique and quirky that you won’t be able to pick a favorite.
But watch out for the principal – she’s a real demon who loves to torture kids with math tests! The way the author portrays her is just too funny.

And the drawings in this book are fantastic and bring the story to life.

The only thing is, there are so many characters that it can be hard to track them all. But don’t worry, the adventure is so exciting that you won’t mind.

This book is a must-read for anyone who loves a good adventure. Get ready to join the Bay Road kids on a fun journey you won’t want to miss!
