A girl with incredible powers of animals must learn to control it and find out the case of the missing students.
Amy Cupples, an eleven-year-old girl, possesses all the extraordinary abilities any animal could have. But she has a problem keeping her powers a secret, so she had to move from five schools in the eleven years of her life. In this school, Amy makes her first friend, Jamie, and because he trusts in her, Amy wants to stay. With the task of trying to control her powers, she will also notice that something strange is going on with her classmates who are disappearing. Amy must get to the bottom of those missing cases, and how will this impact her school years?
This book was sent to me from England, so there were a lot of differences in the English, which was delightful to read.
British humor (or should I say humour!) is unique, and I love it.
It has a creative plot, mystery, humor, and animal facts distilled throughout the book.
I learned some of them. Did you know that armadillo’s shells are bulletproof?
I loved that Amy could get her powers if she were feeling emotional. I especially liked her invisibility because that is fun if you want to prank people.
Amy is an intelligent and kind girl. She cares much about her friends and family and would do anything for them. Jamie is a thoughtful and food-loving boy.
The theme of The Animal in Amy is mainly friendship.
Give this book to animal lovers looking for a hilarious and mysterious adventure.
