Identical twins Jessica and Elizabeth have always been inseparable. However, as they enter the sixth grade, they develop different interests and grow apart. Jessica aspires to be a part of the cool kids’ group, the Unicorns, while Elizabeth is more interested in working on the school newspaper. Over time, they start to spend less time together and realize that pursuing their individuality is essential. They must learn to accept their differences and become their own person.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel a lot. The art in the book was captivating, and I found the illustrations of the twins to be particularly beautiful.
The story was well-written and engaging, and I eagerly turned the pages to see what would happen next.
Out of the two main characters, Jessica was my favorite. I could relate to her more than her sister, and I found her to be a very relatable and likable character. I also loved the Unicorns, a group of mean girls in the story. Their antics were so funny to read, and I couldn’t help but chuckle at some of their more outrageous behavior. However, while the Unicorns were entertaining to read about, they would be pretty horrible people in real life. I would not get along with them very well, and I can only imagine the drama ensuing if I crossed their path.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an excellent middle school drama. The characters are well-developed, the plot is engaging, and the art is stunning. This series has four books, and I can’t wait to have my hand on the next one.
