Two fifth-grader friends have to learn to forgive and forget.

Starr and Sunny have been inseparable for a long time. And they cared about each other. Starr once gave Sunny a poster about a song she wrote for her, and Sunny gave her a handmade backpack made from recycled materials. The bag was so impressive that even the popular girls thought so. They asked her where they got it, and Starr lied, saying she made it herself. This little lie created a wedge between Starr and Sunny, making Starr become one of the most popular girls in the school while Sunny was being bullied. Starr and Sunny must repair their friendship before they hate each other.

This book is a touching, realistic fiction about the friendship of two girls.
I enjoy books of this genre, and this book was adorable and amusing, with a beautiful message of forgiveness.
Forgiveness and friendship go together; it’s sometimes hard to maintain friendships, so you must learn to forgive to keep a friendship. I’ve lost many friends because I didn’t forgive.
This book was a short read, perfect for girls about 7-11 years old. This book reminds me of My Little Pony (don’t ask why), and this book is ideal for anyone who loves that show.
Starr could have been a better person personality-wise, but Sunny is a sincere, caring person who loves inventing and crafts, a bit like me!

Give this book to anyone who wants a sweet, realistic story about the friendship of two girls.
