Can Ben and his fellow agents stop Leo Shang’s Operation Goldfist?
Ben Ripley, a 13-year-old boy, is once again assigned to yet another CIA mission. Ben and his classmates are infiltrating Ski school lessons during Winter break in Colorado to get information from Jessica Shang, Leo Shang’s (the target of the operation) daughter. Will Ben and his classmates be able to handle this mission without blowing their cover?
I absolutely loved the Evil Spy School graphic novel, so diving into this one felt like an adventure waiting to unfold! As I flipped through the pages in one enthusiastic sitting, I found myself bursting with laughter at the clever humor and witty jokes sprinkled throughout.
Ben remains his wonderfully quirky and clever self, navigating through situations with a mix of charm and intelligence that keeps you rooting for him. On the other hand, Erica’s intensity was quite striking; her feigned energy came off as a bit jarring and off-putting. Jessica, however, was a breath of fresh air—her sweetness and kindness added a delightful warmth to the story that I truly appreciated. And then there’s Leo Shang, whose intimidating presence loomed large, casting a shadow of mystery that was both compelling and chilling.
This book is a must-read for fans of the series who crave a thrilling adventure brimming with humor and heart!
