(Book 1)
Sofie basically lives life as the center of attention and will always be, at least, she thought she would always be. But then her family came home with a baby one day, and her spotlight was taken away. Over time, she learned that the baby, named Doug, wasn’t so bad, and together, they go on many adventures using their imagination.
(book 2)
After Sofie and Doug’s last adventures, their family opens their house as a temporary foster family for dogs until they find a new home. Sofie and Doug will meet plenty of new dogs and go on many adventures together.
I was so captivated by both of these books that I ended up reading them in one sitting. The stories were so fascinating that I simply couldn’t tear myself away. I adored the humorous escapades that unfolded and was particularly charmed by the fact that real dogs inspired all the characters. Each adventure was incredibly imaginative and vividly portrayed, making me feel as though I was right there experiencing the excitement alongside the characters. The vibrant and lively artwork added to the whimsical and comical atmosphere. In conclusion, I highly recommend these books to anyone seeking a delightfully creative and adventurous tale featuring a dog and her pint-sized companion.
