Have you ever had something stolen from you or someone you know? Have you wanted to be the detective that will solve this case? Well, then you’re in for something similar in this book.

My brief summary of the book

Pampered and snacks; that is all the pharaoh’s cat, Ra, cares about. His only best friend, Kehpri, tries to get Ra to do something besides eating snacks. Well, that all changed when they saw a kitchen cat named Miu pop up. Miu asked Ra and Kehpri to help her find a servant- Tedimut- that she cares about has gone missing. At first, Ra said no until Kehpri declared he’d put dung in his snacks. Ewww! On finding Tedimut, Miu explained that everyone thinks that she stole the great wife’s amulet- but she didn’t. After locating her, Ra volunteered to be the great detective to solve this case- Kehpri only helped. They asked other people’s pets – such as Bebi the baboon and Aat the leopard – for help. They found many suspects- Nefrubity, Shepenupet, Yuya, the Director of royal loincloths, the overseer, And the great wife herself. Who will it be? Will the amulet be found? Will Tedimut be saved? And most important of all, what if the thief isn’t a suspect?

My thoughts

This book was pleasant and is full of suspense. I’d say this book is like a magnet. Sometimes it makes you want never to stop reading, and sometimes, it repels you. Some parts were a little bit too slow and were not so good. But the other parts were pretty good.

My rating

Rating: 4 out of 5.
