My brief summary of the Little Witch Academia
Akko Kagari, a 16-year-old girl who wants to become a witch, decides to attend the Luna Nova, a witchcraft academy. One thing bugs Akko: she couldn’t do magic correctly like the other witches in the school. Akko is confident that with time and patience, she will master magic like the other students. Will she succeed with the help of her friends Lotte and Sucy?
My thoughts
This series is a fantastic manga for young readers (10 up). The art is in a black and white palette, in anime style. Many great characters throughout the book that are hilarious, and you can easily pick your favorite. My favorite character is Diana because she is brilliant and loves reading books just like me! I often burst into laughter at their humorous jokes. This is a Japanese manga, so the front is on the back. You start from the back of the book, which is quite odd, but you get used to it after several readings. The Little Witch Academia series does exist as a show too.
