The Rip Van Winkle bakery has always been the best in town, enchanting people with its delicious treats and sweets. Elsie helps out the owner of this bakery, Mrs. Hopper, after school whenever she can. But recently, business could have been better, and it was all due to Mrs. Hopeer losing a magical cookbook. Elise must retrieve the cookbook to save the bakery, but slowly, she realizes that goblins, trolls, and other mystical creatures are more than just legends.

I was captivated by the enchanting twist in the story, which revolves around an imaginative quest to recover a cookbook. Have you come across a tale centered on a cookbook before?
The characters in the narrative were all fascinating, and I savored every moment of the experience. While the beginning of the book was a bit challenging to follow, it becomes more comprehensible as you delve further into the story.
I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking a delightful and inventive narrative with a touch of magic.
