My brief summary of the book
After receiving her novice witch rank, Eva and her mother alert Queen Alliana about their finding of the source of the Culling, Grottel’s tower. But disaster strikes, and Grottel (the grandmaster) accuses Eva’s mother of rogue magic and the cause of the Culling. The queen wanted to arrest Grottel, but he escaped. Now Eva must track him down to stop him. Will Eva save the Rivelle Realm?
My thoughts
I liked the first one, but this book is even better, and I loved it—adventure at every corner, much more details that you can visualize the story. Chapter endings are cliffhangers that make you devour this book. I hope Julie Abe will write other books in this sequel.
I got this book on the day the book was released for a back-to-school present!
