My brief summary of the book

Ana Dakkar (House Dolphin), an almost 15-year-old freshman, is at Harding-Pencroft Academy. The academy graduates the best marine scientists and underwater explorers. As the school year is almost over, Ana has trials at sea. Shortly after Ana and her classmates went to the bus, their school blew up. The explosion killed everyone inside, including Ana’s brother Dev.

Furthermore, Ana learns that she is a direct descendant of Captain Nemo in 20,000 leagues under the sea. Will Ana learn what it takes to inherit the family legacy?

My thoughts

I am a huge fan of Rick Riordan’s books, but in my opinion, this book was not as good as the others. Some parts were too slow, and some chapters were too short. And then some parts of the book were too swift and dull. On the other hand, I thought the inheritance legacy was a great twist of 20,000 leagues under the sea with Captain Nemo. My favorite parts were the fighting because I love some action. My favorite character is Ana, as I believe, is a natural leader and very brave.

My rating

Rating: 4 out of 5.
