Three Lab Rats, Six Creeples, lots of trouble.

Johnny Spignola, or “Spigs,” a multi-expelled 15-year-old boy, is determined to make a good year at Aberdasher Academy of Science. He is excited to study supernatural monsters. But on the first day of school, Spigs makes an enemy out of the Dean. On the bright side, Spigs became one of the lab rats in his favorite Geonomics class. Unfortunately, the academy closes down the Geonomics class, and it’s up to Spigs and his friends Peabo and T-Ray to launch a crowdfunding lab experiment. Little did they know that their help would cause a lot of trouble.

Wow, this book was an action-packed and hilarious adventure filled with foolish creatures.

The Aberdasher Academy seems like a wacky and fun place to be. You learn more about science and are curious about the mysterious bell tower. They even have a 3-d bioprinter that can reproduce biotic parts!

Spigs is mischievous, and he reminds me of one of my classmates. Peabo is a tech whiz and is just as fun as Spigs. T-Ray is the group’s brain and wants to use her knowledge to help others. The creeples (their creations) cause a lot of mayhem and are the silliest creatures alive. Dean Smathers is mean and has a shady character.

The theme of Creeples is to experience friendship and science in its many forms. I recommend this book to people who love a wacky science adventure!

My rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.
