“Swift, problem-solving, and superheroes.”
My brief summary of the book
A bright young girl, Chloe is bored out of her mind with fishing. She and her older brother Nathan haven’t caught a single fish all day. When Nathan gets Chloe bubble tea, she sees a submarine rising out of the water. A strange girl climbs out of the submarine and asks her if it’s Singapore. Chloe learns that the strange girl (Koolara) is on a mission to capture an all-devouring sea monster. Will Chloe and Koolara find the beast before it’s too late?
My thoughts
This book is a fast read. The story is short but fascinating, and the characters are well developed. I would like to learn more about the Super-Secret society and Diamond City. I highly recommend this book for superheroes fans, but it’s not a comic book. Overall, it’s a very captivating but short book.
My rating
Do you like superhero stories? I am not into superhero stuff but from time to time I might read more superhero stories like this one.
