My summary of the book
After narrowly escaping the Russians in the Amazon, Charlie is in Cairo, Egypt. She sneaks into Ahmet Shah’s private office to find a clue that can lead to the source of Cleopatra’s wealth. She escaped the house after getting almost caught. Unfortunately, she gets kidnapped by the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence group. Luckily, she escapes with the help of her half-brother Dante and his friend Miliana. They must work together to find the treasure before an enemy gets it.
My thoughts
Charlie Thorne and the Curse of the Cleopatra is the third book of the Charlie Thorne series. Fortunately, the book explained what happened in the first and second books because I haven’t read them. I was excited to read this book because I’m interested in Cleopatra and Ancient Egypt. The book didn’t disappoint, although I hoped they’d find the actual Cleopatra. I enjoyed learning more cool historical facts about Cleopatra as well. I had no idea that she went to Greece. Fans of action-packed stories dusted with some historical facts, epic twists, and a female hero, will enjoy this book.
