My summary of the book
Fairy tales are seen as warnings or fantasies that little kids love to dream about. Wrong; you may think you know them all, but they’re not the same as you might’ve heard. Read these 12 scary tales and discover the genuine hardship behind these fairy tales.
My thoughts
I loved how this book pictures the main characters in a whole different light. Dark and twisted, those fairy tales are scary and good.
Although, I’m not too fond of how Sleeping Beauty went. The plot was completely different from what I’d heard; instead of a princess, there’s a prince haunted by a “demon.” But on the bright side, the other fairy tales were well-written!
