My brief summary of the book
This book is about a 12-year-old girl named Anya Kozlov. One day, Anya’s mother, Miriam, must pay 250 rubles in 30 days. Anya tries to find a way to make that kind of money. Her new friend Ivan Ivonioh suggests dragon hunting. But an evil man named Sigurd wants to hunt the dragon as well. Surprisingly, the dragon turned out to be nice. Now it’s up to Anya to save the dragon. Will Anya save the dragon before it’s too late?
My thoughts
I love this book because I learned some Russian words and culture. It’s fantastic that magic threads can be used to do magic. I liked the friendship (between Ivan and the dragon) and the adventure to save the dragon. It’s scary and funny at every turn.
