Did you know that Anastasia was a tomboy and loved playing practical jokes on her family?

My summary of the book

Anastasia Romanov, one of the grand duchesses of Russia, is living an extraordinary life with her sisters and brother. Little did Anastasia know that things were changing around her family. Her little brother Alexei, the tsarevich, got a new doctor, a holy man named Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin. When World War I breaks out, the Romanov family’s lives are changed forever. Soon, a revolution starts within Russia, and the imperial family’s lives are on the line.

My thoughts

I couldn’t decide which Anastasia novel I liked the most: Anastasia last grand duchess Russia 1913 or Anastasia and her sisters, both written by Carolyn Meyer. This book was beyond amazing and well-written. Carolyn Meyer went deeply into Anastasia’s personal and emotional life. Beware that some parts are moving. Overall, a vibrant but sweet book.

My rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.
