My brief summary of the book

A wolf cub named Swift lives a happy life with his pack. But then disaster strikes, an enemy wolf pack breaks into Swift’s pack’s territory and leaves Swift on his own. Now Swift must do what it takes to survive all alone. Will he find a new place to call home?

My thoughts

This book is very emotional and compelling. In my head, I cried a lot. I was as well anxious at some scary parts of the story. It is a well-written story that I felt like I was traveling on Swift’s journey.

The book includes excellent black-and-white illustrations, a map, and information about the real wolf, which inspired the novel.

My rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.
