In the latest installment of the Middle School and Other Disasters series, I was eagerly anticipating diving back into the world of the characters. This book did not disappoint! While Heidi remained my favorite character, I found Lucy to be a wonderfully portrayed individual as well. Her depiction as a kind-hearted friend who struggles with loneliness is both relatable and endearing. The concept of Friends and Family Weekend was thoroughly captivating, and I felt a strong desire to immerse myself in that setting. Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking an engaging Middle School story with a touch of enchantment.
