Maggie will attend another Wayfinder apocalypse at the Dux Manor, a Wayfinder world center. But Maggie has many food allergies and thinks she isn’t brave. But that all changes when she is recruited alongside her friend Anahira to be part of a special group in the Wayfinder camp called the Guardians. This group is tasked with protecting the Earth from the dangers of other planets. When she went through her guardian training, she met two creatures from Faerie who needed her help, and she had no other choice but to help them because she was bound to them. These creatures tasked Maggie with finding the Mountain of Light so that the queen of Faerie could defeat the evil prince Draikern.
The book was indeed a delight to read! While the beginning had a gentle pace, the narrative gained momentum and became incredibly thrilling as it unfolded. The author weaves a compelling narrative, blending themes of bravery and friendship with elements of fantasy and suspense.
The delightful antics of the two creatures from Faerie, Twylith, and Teg, added a wonderful touch of humor to the story, making them my favorite characters. Anahira, Maggie’s friend, seemed like a fantastic companion. Maggie was portrayed as a remarkable, kind-hearted, and courageous character, facing numerous challenges with bravery.
The depiction of London was vivid and appealing, providing an enriching backdrop to the story.
Overall, the narrative was enthralling and captured my interest from the beginning. I highly recommend this book to anyone who appreciates a tale of resilience and bravery.
P.S. The ending of this book was so fantastic! I loved it a lot!
