Get ready for a thrilling story of a brave girl named Suzy who uncovers the shocking truth about Unum. Her life is about to take an unexpected turn. Keep reading to find out what happens next!
Imagine a world where fitting in is the norm, and anyone who doesn’t conform is an outcast. Meet Suzan, an 11-year-old girl who doesn’t fit into the perfect society of Unum. One fateful day, while wandering around, Suzy stumbles upon a group of notorious criminals known as the Pajama Gang. They were vandalizing a wall, and before she knew it, Suzy picked up the graffiti can and started painting. The police show up, and the gang runs for it, but it’s too late for Suzy. The can she used, called Dreamifti, shows her a vision of a lynx, and this one act puts her in serious trouble. She’s now a wanted criminal.
But that’s not the end of it. Three members of the Pajama Gang approach her and reveal that the whole world is in a terrible dream created by the president, Harold Dore, and the dream demon, Phantos. They ask for her help, and Suzy joins them in a fight to wake everyone up from the nightmare and take down the dream demon. Will they succeed, or will they be trapped in the dream forever?
At first, it gave me dystopian vibes. I do not want to experience the nightmare of Unum in real life. However, after a few chapters, I was completely hooked! The story takes place in Mount Nightlight, a haven and a fun-filled place where the Pajama Gang resides.
The story was enjoyable and enchanting, and I wanted to experience it while wearing my pajamas!
I cheered for the Pajama Gang as they fought against the scary mares using their trusty weapons, the dream sand. Suzy, the brave and selfless dreamer, steals the show with her forgiving nature and willingness to help others. Remmy, the cute and kind-hearted lynx, stole my heart, but the president and Phantos played their parts well.
This book is perfect for anyone who loves to read about strong characters who always want to do what’s right. I highly recommend it!
